Dr. McNeal received her DMD degree from the University of Kentucky in 1987, where she graduated top of her class, received many awards of merit in various fields of Dentistry including oral medicine and orthodontics, and was also awarded the prestigious Pierre Fauchard Academic Award. In 1989, Dr. McNeal completed her Orthodontic residency at Emory University in Atlanta, GA., and also holds a MS degree in Infectious disease and Microbiology. She has over 20 years of experience in early childhood treatment, growth management, and craniofacial disharmonies.
Prior to joining Apple Orthodontix in 2012, Dr. McNeal maintained a private practice in Atlanta, Georgia and Paris, Texas. Professional memberships include the American Association of Orthodontists, Southwest Society of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Texas Association of Women Dentists, and Atlanta Women’s Medical Alliance. She is also a Fellow of the World Federation of Orthodontists.
Dr. McNeal and her husband enjoy the mountains, beach, and home with their 6 rescued dogs. They are active supporters of The Animal Refuge Foundation.
