  Dr. Rendon worked as a pediatric dentist for eight years before becoming an orthodontist. He earned his DDS in 1989 and his MS in Clinical Pediatric Dentistry and Interceptive Orthodontics in 1995 from the Institute of Health Sciences, Colombia, his native country. He received a second MS in Orthodontics from St. Louis University. Dr. Rendon served on the faculty of the Institute of Health Sciences for seven years and completed the Cleft Lip and Palate Fellowship at Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital in St. Louis, MO. Professional memberships include the American Association of Orthodontists, Southwestern Society of Orthodontists, Colombian Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association and Ft. Worth Dental District Society. Dr. Rendon joined Apple Orthodontix in 2005. He is fluent in English and Spanish. “Practicing orthodontics has allowed me to help people be proud of their smiles.
