Dr. Hoybjerg received his DDS degree from Loma Linda University in Loma Linda, CA in 2007 where he also completed his orthodontic residency and received his MS degree in 2009. He graduated top of his class and received the school’s highest award for charitable service, the Wilfred A. Nation Award. He also served as a faculty member at Loma Linda for the on-call, general dental clinic and conducted extensive orthodontic research which has been published in professional dental journals. Professional memberships include the American Association of Orthodontists, Southwestern Society of Orthodontists, American Dental Association and Texas Dental Association. Fluent in English and Spanish, Dr. Hoybjerg joined Apple Orthodontix in 2009.

In his spare time, Dr. Hoybjerg enjoys sports, the outdoors, travelling and playing the violin. `He is also active in his church and community. The Hoybjerg’s live in Rockwall where they run and bike together.
