  Dr. Chen received her DMD degree in 1986 from the Fourth Military Medical University (FMMU) in China, where she also taught and practiced dentistry. In 1997, she earned her PhD in dentistry from the FMMU and the Chinese Academy of Preventive Medicine (CAPM) in Beijing, and then pursued her post-doctoral research in molecular biology at SUNY, Buffalo, New York. Dr. Chen received her orthodontic specialty certificate from the School of Dental Medicine, SUNY, Buffalo in 2007. Professional memberships include the American Association of Orthodontists and the American Dental Association. She joined Apple Orthodontix in 2007 and is fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese. Dr. Chen enjoys reading, visiting fine arts museums and traveling. She is also active in her church and community. “I am committed to providing excellent, orthodontic care for my patients.
