Our position on Medicaid

Recently, WFAA-TV has aired some investigative reports (see links below) alleging gross abuse of Medicaid funds to cover the cost of orthodontics in the state of Texas. Apple Orthodontix has never engaged in this practice and has issued the following statement:

At Apple Orthodontix, caring for our patients is our highest priority. Although we accept Medicaid, it’s a very small percentage of our business, and we comply will all the rules and regulations as outlined by the State of Texas.
